1400 yards is elite...
None this is going to matter if your OL is still among the very worst at protecting Wilson. If he makes it through the season healthy...it'll be the first time in seven years a Donks QB hasnt been hurt....and Wilson was hurt last year behind a bad OL.
Wait, so 1400 yards one time is elite a few years later? [Reply]

It ranks 11th most over the past 4 seasons...so yes, elite. He and Ja'Marr Chase are the only 21 year old WRs in the top 100 seasons all time...and 1426 ties A.J Greens best year. Hill's best year was only 50 yards more...so ruffly 3 yards better a game.
Hard to believe he did this at @ 21 years old...the vast majority of WRs on that list were around 26. Josh Gordon, Justin Jefferson, Isaac Bruce and Fitzgerald are the only 22 year olds..
If it werent for Chase's insane year last season...Juju would be the only 21 year old in the top 100.
I didnt realize he was this young...
The list ended at 250...1265 yards was the cutoff...sorry, no Sutton. You and Knowmo can still pretend he's elite though... [Reply]

I'm not saying he's a bad player... he had a great one season with a couple of good seasons. It was elite that year, you're not calling JJS elite now right? [Reply]

We'll see...the year following his 1426 yard season, Big Rape missed 14 games and JSS was injured too. In 2020, when they altered their offensive strategy to compensate for Rape's surgically repaired elbow....JuJu still had 97 catches, 831 yards, nine touchdowns.
Last season, they didnt throw the ball down field and were terrible offensively...he had a 35 passer rating for the year.
So his numbers took a hit the moment Ben's elbow gave out...he still put up a 9 TD season. Brown left too...so teams could focus on him.
Veach tried to get him last year...JSS made a bad career decision and stayed while BB fell apart.
I'd say it's realistic to expect somewhere between 900-1100 with Mahomes barring injury...definitely with the potential for more. Teams wont be able to focus on him with Kelce and others.
He seems to be victim of circumstance and is only 25... [Reply]

Conspiracy, no, of course not, and yet somehow it's the same shit every year.
Is this actually true? Yes, 4 of the teams in the first 8 games were pretty bad, but SF in week 3, 2 divisional games and Indy don't look like cakewalks.
It's interesting the difference divisions make. I think everyone would agree that Buffalo had a better season than Denver last year, but our strength of schedules are nearly identical (opponent wins are the same, but Buffalo's SOS is slightly higher due to ties last season). [Reply]
The truth is the Broncos have a punchers chance with Wilson. He is a great QB and can win games. He is miles ahead of any QB they've had since Manning.
The other players on that team are going to be hyped and expect to start winning. There will be a different swagger in that organization for sure. [Reply]

I'm excited. Even if we don't succeed in whatever (winning division, winning playoff games, winning super bowl), it will at least be entertaining. This has not been true for some time in Denver. [Reply]
