Never thought I would see him unravel like that on the biggest stage. Like it or not his legacy took a big hit last night.
I don’t think any QB would have accomplished much in that situation in the first half. Especially with multiple drops that would have been first downs.

The two INTs were bad, but most everything else was caused by teammates shitting the bed.

Why the feck are you and others so focused on Pat's legacy? The last time we lost a playoff game was 2022 ffs. It's now 2025. People need to have some perspective here. The whole team failed last night. But if Pat going to the superbowl five times out of six and going to three In a row "hurts his legacy" then something is very wrong. It's a shame to see Chiefs fan feed into that bs.

Remember how in 2014 we posted a thread called “The uncomfortable reality of a fading Tom Brady” after embarrassing him 41-14 and joined all NFL fans in endzone spiking the end of Tom Brady and declared him to be that generation’s Aikman.

Too many people have forgotten about that. Including us.

We’ll be fine, guys. As will Pat’s legacy.

Mahomes could retire tomorrow and have a strong argument as the third most accomplished QB in NFL history. That’s basically the floor.

So if you’re disappointed in that, your expectations are unrealistic. If “anything less than Brady” is a failure in your eyes, then all but 1 QB in NFL history are failures.

Mahomes should chase Brady. We should just appreciate what we have.

This. People forget also forget that at that point of Tom's career, there was serious constant debate about who was better--him or Peyton.

The last thing Mahomes is worried about is legacy. He knows if he wins more games and more rings, the legacy will take care of itself.

Get him an oline and let him get to work.

The last two times QB's faced history I.e Brady in his unbeaten season and Pat yesterday. Both failed. Even the very best can be undone by pressure and expectations. Could you imagine if we hadn't lost in Buffalo and was unbeaten heading into yesterday? Man.

But the last time Pat had this feeling he came back the next season and had a historic year ending with an MVP and superbowl win. I think this could be a watershed moment for him tbh. Brady used to always look for little things to improve and constantly worked on his throwing mechanics with a throwing coach. I think Pat needs to look at really bunkering down this offseason and seek to improve in every way possible. Seeing Pat dink and dunk whilst guys like Mayfield and Darnold are airing it out and putting up big yards and TD stats just doesn't look right. That needs to change next season.

Yeah, I'm glad Mahomes has such a high bar to look up at in terms of both performance and longevity, but I don't give two fucks about Tom Brady or the whole GOAT debate.

Mahomes is our GOAT. Tom is the Patriots' GOAT.

Don't give a shit about some legacy meter or whatever.

I'm just a fan so most of my takes are emotional...

Patrick seems to have lost that grip it and rip it mentality. The Chiefs offense hasn't been the same since the 2nd half of the TB regular season game in 2020.

The Hopkins open field drop inside 2 minutes till halftime was shocking

2022 may have been Mahomes’s best season overall.

He played so much more free his first few years.

It really feels like he’s been over coached and is thinking way too much instead of just playing.

The offensive personnel has steadily declined the last few years.

The play calling by Reid/Nagy is incredibly vanilla and uninspired during the regular season.

What's scary is imagining a future without Kelce.

He threw 5,000 yards with OBJ as his LT.

I’ll start to be concerned about “over coaching” if we see him struggle again with actual talent at the LT position.

Losing Rice and Brown so early really hurt this offense’s ability to ever get going.

I think things would’ve looked different with at least Rice staying healthy.

Kelce’s decline wouldn’t have been so noticeable with more around him.

I'm ready to embrace it. I love Kelce, and I always will. Father time is undefeated though, and Kelce is showing his age.

I think it's time for him to hang em up.
