Last thread has well over 10,000 replies. Its body is breaking down like The Undertaker's. Seeing as we might have crossed the threshold into a new era in the business, here's a fresh new thread.
Rollins and Rhodes have been pretty open about the fact they legitimately dislike each other off screen. It's why having a cohesive locker room and a respectable boss is so crucial. Instead of letting it blow up to the point you have an untenable toxic locker room, you set the personal shit aside and do good business together. [Reply]

I get that it's a show, i'd just like plotlines better than The Kardashians level of inanity.
My problem is, even inebriated Ive got too many functioning brain cells to conjure up the necessary suspension of disbelief. To me, wrestling is like Roseanne Barr putting on a string bikini and proclaiming to be hot. [Reply]

Nobody is uh trying to make it something that it's not. It's like watching the Herm era Chiefs.
It's a car crash and you know it's coming but you look anyways. [Reply]

:-) You're treating it way too seriously if you're actually trying to sit there and suspend disbelief. Wrestling is fucking stupid. Unabashedly lowest of the low entertainment. That's what makes it fun. [Reply]
AEW might be in some real trouble soon with their TV rights. WWE seems to be closing in on announcing their new TV rights for RAW and last I saw the favorite was Warner Bros Discovery to put it on TNT/TBS. If that happens it's a pretty massive blow for AEW as they'd almost assuredly have to look elsewhere for TV rights. [Reply]

Yep, and what WWE is putting on is in most ways light years better than what many of us grew up watching in the 70s and 80s on Channel 41 (and that was recorded a Memorial Hall in Kansas City almost weekly). [Reply]
Don't know. Man, that really fucks up Mania, dunnit. That belt needed a feud like Punk and Rollins to elevate it, and now that's all but lost to the ether. I guess you could go Roman/Rock and Punk/Rhodes now. [Reply]
