The same guy bashing him for a low QBR tonight gives him zero credit for a 96/100 QBR a couple years ago.

I understand & agree that he had a really bad game tonight, but it's not cool to try to re-write the history on the game from 2 years ago.

The guy who is miles better as a QB than Tom Brady can’t pass him now because he lost a SB game after having the greatest 7 year run in NFL history. Right.

I swear you people didn’t even watch Brady in some of his playoff losses, he struggled massively in some of those games. The guy (and his teams) were far from invincible.

Brady had 3 picks, a fumble lost and 3.7 yards per attempt vs the Ravens in the wildcard in 2009 https://t.co/ppkTr5eaI0

I’m annoyed but calm.

While 3-peating would’ve been great, it was still the best 3-year run in NFL history. Nothing takes that away.

Just about everything went wrong, so there’s plenty to blame.

Gotta fix LT in the offseason. Thuney needs to move back inside and Caliendo needs to pack his shit.

“He only had 182 passing yards”

Yeah, and he had the ball for only 20 minutes of play and played perfect each possession he had it. It’s just a horseshit excuse to denigrate our QB’s play.

Yes he’s better than them. But not Tom Brady. It feels out of reach now

There’s a decent argument his game against the Eagles was the best game he ever played considering the opposition (in retrospect now that win looks even better considering what this Eagles team just did) and the SB

It *feels* that way.

How would you *feel* after another back to back?

You'd *feel* differently.

I think people just don't care as much about the earlier rounds of the Playoffs. But every Playoff game counts the same. The season is on the line. Brady & Montana would admit this if you asked them about some of their early round losses where they didn't play anywhere near their best. Nobody is perfect.

How about a playoff game against the Ravens in his prime (2010).

Brady 23/42 154 yds - 2 TD 3 INT and 1 FL

Tom Brady turned the ball over 3 times in the 1st quarter which ended with BAL ahead 24-0.

Final score: BAL 33 - NE - 14.

Total blowout.

Brady had 9 playoff games with a QB rating under 69.0 and 15 total under 75.0.

Pat finished with a 95.7 today for reference.

Too many Chiefs fans are engaging in Stephen A Smith level debates about GOATS and other bullshit to appreciate this run for what it is.

Mahomes is still outpacing Brady in a huge way and doing everything a QB could hope to do to pass Brady’s legacy at this point in his career.

“Oh but Mahomes is 0-2 against Brady in the playoffs”

If you watched the God Damn games you’d know he lost because Dee Ford was fucking offsides. Stephen A Smith sure as shit didn’t watch, so you shouldn’t give a shit what dumbasses like that have to say and lower yourselves to their arguments.

People said the GOAT talk was over after the Bucs Super Bowl.

And then he went and won 2 more and it was back on.

If he goes out and wins 2 more by the time he’s 35 it’ll be back on again.

Can we please not do this silly legacy discourse? Nothing was decided one way or another today and nothing will be know for another decade at least.

Losing today is a setback, but it doesn’t mean it’s over for him. He’s still not even 30.

Good lord.

Apparently, while standing on the sidelines, Patrick was supposed to magically play shutdown defense and prevent the 2022 Eagles from scoring 35 points in that game while holding the ball forever.

And I agree with you, the win two years ago looks even better right now. This Eagles team is pretty damn loaded on both sides of the ball. The 2024 Chiefs made it further than they should have when you look at the Left Tackle situation. NONE of the other Playoff teams this year had such a major crap show going on at the Left Tackle spot. That includes all the losing teams in the Wild Card & Divisional rounds.

Also, the Bolton defensive TD and Toney punt return took away 2 entire fields worth of yardage potential for Mahomes.

He lost a possession from Bolton scoring. He got a short field from the Toney punt return.

Hard to hold those against Mahomes when they clearly held his yardage down.
