In his prime? No way... still good and worth the investment?
Seven players and the financial hit...it's the divisional round or bust to justify it.
If Denver misses the post-season, its a horrible trade ...period. There is no other measuring stick...you could've missed the post-season with Lock.
It wasn't just a QB away situation...they have an an entirely new coaching staff/sketchy OL. No pro-bowlers on the entire roster...I dont get it...the timing...except for the impending sale/asking price.
The expectations being dumped on Wilson's shoulders arent realistic...and it's the inept FO's fault. Their fans are expecting a Manning like savior... [Reply]
BTW, his AFC West pre-season predictions for 2021? 1. Chiefs 2. Raiders 3. Chargers 4. Donkos
He also picked the Chiefs and 49er’s to represent their respective conferences in the Super Bowl. Both made it to the conference title game. Solid picks.
His pre-season defensive rookie of the year? Micah Parson.
Dude knows his shit. Pay attention Donko fans. Don’t say he didn’t warn you . . . . [Reply]

Expert picks are all over the place... I've seen very few that are projecting Denver to do more than finish 2nd/3rd. Denver has a huge challenge in front of them, no two ways around it. They could very well finish 3rd/4th with a much better team than they've had in the last 5 years.
I think they finish 2nd/3rd... it's going to be a competitive year. [Reply]

Holy crap.. I was thinking that was Kitna @ QB. Damn, you're right again. Where are you getting this information... would love to bookmark it. :-) [Reply]
I'm not much into the whole trash talk deal, but boy do these mfers ALWAYS get a lay-up first few weeks. Not that it's mattered, but maybe this year we won't get the KnowMos of the world jerking off all September after starting 3-0 vs Giants, Jags, Jets. :-) [Reply]
What he's saying in the sum is the Broncos have a lot to prove. He's right. It's a tough division with 1 great team and 3 good/decent teams. It's okay. It's a perfectly reasonable take based on past performance. [Reply]

Been saying the same thing. Sure, Denver improved, but so did everyone else ahead of them, and they were so far back... They have some good players, but nothing special. Many teams have what they have. Most certainly every team in the division does, and more. Their roster is overrated, mostly by Bronco Homers, who are desperate for the losing to stop. They may FINALLY have a winning season, but they'll still finish last in the West IMO. [Reply]
