OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

I still believe in the perfect season.

All this bleating tonight is just recency bias.

If Patrick goes back to back again his legacy is fine.

Don't say it can't happen because the AFC Championship is the floor.

It's wild to me that some cannot even admit that Pat was absolutely beyond atrocious in this game.

There's not even a word I can come up with to describe HOW FUCKING SHIT HE WAS.

And people are like "oh it's no big deal"

Too few guys have tried to throw a football with a 300 pound lineman backing into them and it shows.

“He should have thrown it away!”

To where? He’s in the middle of the field in his own endzone. Grounding gets you a safety there.

“He should have tried to step up and evade the pressure!”

Like he did throughout the second quarter and got roasted for it by y’all for not being decisive and taking too many sacks?

Jesus guys Patrick played bad but our line was dogshit. Both things can be true. It’s silly to put that second INT all on Patrick like some of y’all are.

Ok that's all I'm saying.

Pat literally shit his pants ALL GAME LONG.

I mean, it's possible the WORST QB performance in ANY SB ever.

Peyton Manning and John Elway… even with the same opportunity for garbage time stats had worse Super Bowl performances.

Kerry Collins had a 7.1 quarterback rating against the Ravens.

That’s hard to beat.

I would say it's Peyton Manning against the Seahawks or Dan Marino against the Forty Whiners. Peyton & Marino both had record-setting seasons in 2013 and 1984. Both got destroyed in the Super Bowl despite supposedly having unstoppable offenses all season.

Mahomes was already over-achieving to make the Super Bowl in the first place considering he had 4 different guys playing Left Tackle this season, a ridiculous situation. Go look at the other teams in the Playoffs this year. None of them had that type of problem at the Left Tackle spot, except the Chiefs.

Did he have an 11 QBR?

I doubt it was the worst by Mahomes but has to be bottom 10%.

Did you just start watching football three seconds ago? :-)

See Rich Gannon’s Super Bowl performance… 5 INT’s.
