Again, there's no other QB I'd want on my team but there is a pattern here
Pat has gotten destroyed in two super bowls.
He's not in the GOAT talk and never will be.
Brady literally never got blown out ONCE. In like 100 super bowls.
Pat has shit his pants TWICE.
Why can't people just be honest about this?
Pat was AWFUL tonight. FUCKIN ATROCIOUS.
What happened to being happy with getting to 1 Super Bowl?
Now we're fuming because Mahomes won't be considered the GOAT?
Who the fuck cares?

It absolutely did. It was an ABYSMAL performance. It was fucking embarrassing to watch.
you are embarrassing yourself.
He's 29. Tom played to 43. Lots of time left.

Most QBs, 98% of them are donezo at age 37 or 38.
Tom Brady is the exception, not the rule.
There is no reason to believe Mahomes will be effective at 40 like Brady.

And that's fine. The goal is to match or surpass Montana/Bradshaw's 4 rings. Maybe a 8-10 year window to keep trying for 1-2 more rings.

He was 45 when he retired.

Brady's Super Bowl record was 3-2 at age 37. His playoff record was 18-8 prior to his 4th SB run at that age.
Patrick's playoff record is 17-4 with an identical 3-2 mark in Super Bowls at 29.
Mahomes is THE exception.
And, he's got a few years to play around with. Like, 8 years to be exact. It's a nice problem to have.

I'm not.
Why can't some of you admit that tonight Pat was atrociously bad?
Yes the line bad some struggles but Pat made some Tyler Thigpen style throws in the game.
I mean we were only down 17-0 before the half and if we score it's a different ballgame.
But nope. Pat throws a ball in the middle of the field where only a Philly defender is.
Again, I wouldn't trade him for anyone else currently playing but Pat himself was hyper aware of his legacy. And this absolutely did crush it.

It's just fandom bias Guardian. People generally don't like truths if they don't want to hear it.

It’s not just losing a SB and being 0-2 vs Tom. He got blown out in 2 games that were over at halftime. He also had 2 of the worst SB performances ever, and don’t give me the stupid shit of garbage time stats when it was 34-0 and the game was over.
This was Patrick’s chance to get a legit leg up on Brady and it didn’t works it sucks but QB2 is as high as he can go and that’s okay

You are just going to ignore the fact Mahomes was hit as he was throwing, from Thuney giving up yet another pressure.
