But the 2nd half of the Eagles super bowl was absolute perfection and efficiency.
That stalled drive also featured three straight running plays and Patrick didn’t step back to pass a single time.

Alright looked it up.

96.9 ESPN QBR

33/44 for 378 yards passing and 3 TD
7 carries for 69 yards and 1 TD
8/13 on 3rd down, 1/1 on 4th down

Yeah, thats pretty good.

Not NFL rating. ESPN QBR.
I fucking love Vic Fangio.

Fangio wasn't their DC. But they have a lot of the same players.

One thing they don't have is the outside pass rush they had in '22. Reddick gave us a ton of problems, and Brandon Graham was no slouch.

Now Graham is washed and they have some decent players but no one like Reddick.

He was phenomenal in the 13 seconds game (97/100 QBR grade). His rushing plays were critical to keep drives alive in the first half of that ballgame before it turned into a wild shootout throwing the ball in the 2nd half. Keep in mind Buffalo had the #1 ranked defense for the 2021 season, just like Philly had the #1 ranked defense for the 2022 season.

PERFECTION: #Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has literally been perfect since week 12.

16 total touchdowns
Zero interceptions
8 & record
99.4 passer rating
1,946 passing yards

We are witnessing greatness.

Wasn't he a defensive consultant for the Eagles though?

Patrick Mahomes has the highest playoff EPA/play of any quarterback since 1999

His 0.317 postseason EPA/play is even better than his 0.278 regular season EPA/play, despite facing stronger defenses pic.twitter.com/3tnzPKwQkk

Yeah that d-line is not even close to what we faced in 22

I don’t love how we matchup against Jalen Carter. Interior pressure has given Patrick headaches and Jalen seems like he’ll take a cheap shot if he has the opportunity.

They will have ways of dealing with Carter. They handled the Bills for the most part and while Oliver isn't Carter, they held their own.

But the linebackers and secondary might be better.
