7 years and 13 straight losses to your daddy and you're still trying to hype that shit franchise. At least you're consistent in your dumbassery

The important word your left out was four "cheap" players for years...Doinks wont have this ability until Wilson is 35...at that point he will be costing $45 mil+. KC will add two more next year.

This will allow the Chiefs to work the FA market...while the Horsefaces will have to settle for table scraps.

Taking Mac Jones would have put that franchise ahead of the curve...cheap QB for 5 years while retaining their top picks/players.

They sold out in hopes of maybe being beat in the WC round...that's their ceiling in a best-case scenario.

What is the threshold for the Wilson trade to be considered worth it? Not finishing last?...beating KC in the regular season?

It was a desperation move from a desperate franchise...their roster/coaching isnt strong enough to withstand losing that much capital then taking the mammoth cap hit from Wilson.

Someone on this board did the exact same thing for Skyy Moore/Antonio Brown and George Karlaftis/Aidan Hutchison

Bunch of HOF coming to the AFCW with this draft

Wilson was a PR move to energize a fading fanbase...nothing more, nothing less. Having Mahomes/Herbert in your division will do that...

Rodgers might have been able to carry that roster for a bit...Wilson isnt Rodgers.

Donk fans are going to have buyers remorse...I'll reference this post, this time next year. See how enthusiastic you still are...

The fact they traded back with their first available pick should tell you....they know they need as many picks as possible going forward. It's tablescraps for the foreseeable future...

There's obviously a path to them being much improved offensively (not hard to improve on Lock/Bridgewater), but I could also see a massive letdown. Their view is that Wilson will have a plethora of weapons and much better pass protection. Aside from the fact that their line is still probably mediocre, Wilson's actually been sacked more often when he has better protection. OL has been a convenient excuse for the fact that he's on track to be the most-sacked QB in NFL history. He's equally responsible. And Denver fans have always overrated their receiver corps. They have no one that compares to Metcalf or Lockett.

And defensively, it's hard to imagine they won't take a step back without Fangio. Guy may be a goof, but he's a damn good defensive coordinator and playcaller.

Then, of course, comes the little problem of being in the most loaded division in football. They could be substantially better than last year and STILL finish last.
