Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]
Lemieux career PPG isn’t really far off from the Great One
gretzky played 500 more games and still has a better PPG
lemieux is an easy #2 in terms of peak dominance but the health matters. Gretzky had 4 straight 200 point seasons which no one else has ever done. the 199 point season is crazy but gretzky did better than that 4 times [Reply]

Sure, his career is undeniably better (Lemieux had injuries and cancer so that wasn’t fully his fault) but it was more a reference to their respective peak levels [Reply]

-A WR that no one really wanted (Juju)
-DeAndre Hopkins who has had, what, 1 good game for us?
-A rookie WR that might end up being really good
Mahomes supporting cast is bad. And he is still shredding playoff teams. It's insane.
The weapons are fine.
Probably 15-20 QBs have terribad seasons with this OL. Miss the playoffs. [Reply]
The Dee Ford game really hurts. If that one flipped the other way, Brady has one less ring. Mahomes probably has one extra ring. They would be tied in Playoff games head to head. Anyway, I just want Mahomes to keep beating the guys in his age group.
It would be nice if he can make it past the 4 rings of Joe Montana & Terry Bradshaw, but it requires a lot of hard work and some luck. In 2 weeks, he has a chance to match Joe Montana & Terry Bradshaw in the ring count. A chance to forever make Troy Aikman eat shit on his comments early in Patrick's career. [Reply]
Patrick Mahomes has trailed in 4th quarter in 9 playoff games. He has come back to win 6 and forced OT in 2 others before losing. He has a 132.2 rating with 5 TD passes and 1 TD run when down 1-8 points in 4th quarter or OT of playoff game, leading scores on 13 of 14 drives
2 things I liked from Mahomes in this game. He was getting rid of the ball quickly instead of holding the ball too long. I also liked how aggressive he was running the ball with his legs instead of hesitating behind the line of scrimmage. It's a pretty strong combination when he's playing with that type of mentality as both a passer & runner. [Reply]
