What's even more impressive is the guy who has fumbled the most (Zeke w/ 22) is still 5 lost fumbles behind the guy who has turned it over the most (Melvin at 16 lost fumbles).
At least Zeke managed to recover half of his fumbles. If Melvin puts it on the ground, you can pretty much guarantee a turnover.
Melvin Gordon = worst ball security RB in NFL (by far!)
'We should definitely re-sign that guy and give him 30-40% of our carries this year' /Donkos Front Office [Reply]

Cook is 2 behind him in 4 fewer games. The only saving grace for him is he is tied for 7th in that timeframe for most total TDs by a RB with 20 in 31 games.
And, that's why they drafted Williams and he's now going to be the lead runner. [Reply]

Depth is a good thing, yeah? More options. [Reply]
No Shelby Harris. No Von Miller. No Vic Fangio.
Your defense is going to stink and stink badly. I would not be at all surprised if the donk show finished 4th in the division. [Reply]

Hell, they could finish 3rd or 4th just based on the upgrades across the division. Shelby Harris is a tough loss, but not impossible to replace. Miller... he wasn't the "Vonster" during his final stretch with the team either.
Defensively, they're not going to drop like a stone in a pond. That's just silly. [Reply]
Those are two huge pieces on the D Line. You are now left with Bradley Chump and a few jags. How is your defense going to put pressure on Mahomes and Herbert? [Reply]

We'll see what they do in the draft to add to Gregory and Jones. [Reply]
Gregory and Jones are both jags. You won't have the chance of getting a high end edge rusher by picking in the bottom of the second. Do you really think Russ "the terrible cook" Wilson can win in a shootout against Mahomes and Herbert? I do not. Do you think Paul Hackett's son will take you to the SB? I sure as fück do not. Opinions vary, but like a--holes... everyone has one.
I have know idea how Hackett will perform as a HC and just because his daddy wasn't all that great doesn't mean much in regards to his success. [Reply]
Gregory isn't a JAG. He's just unreliable. He can't stay on the field and can't seem to avoid trouble off of it. It's a pretty risky move by Denver to be relying on Chubb (also can't stay on the field) and Gregory for their pass rush.
And, yes, I know, the Chiefs have their own own issues there. But we don't rely on our defense like Denver does. Offense carries the water. Defense just has to not completely suck.
But then again, KnowMo says Denver will be going bombs away all year with Russ throwing deep passes and Judy, Court, Hamstrung & Timmy each putting up 1000 yards, plus 'best RB in NFL' (KnowMo's words) JaWho? will probably rush for 1500 yards with Fumbleruski adding another 500+, so defense isn't needed in Denver anymore . . . . . .
