Nzoner's Game Room>Off Season Lets Talk Guns, Part 2
HonestChieffan 11:58 AM 01-23-2011
Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.

Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon?

Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware?

7.62x39 is about the only thing I can find online. But it's normally re-manufactured corrosive russian ammo. It's almost .60 cpr too.

I went to cabelas yesterday at the Legends, all they had were meme rounds (50bmg) and shotgun shells. I did see a couple boxes of .308 on the shelf but they probably didn't last long

Side note, look at the low grade crap for .38.5 a pop. What could possible go wrong? Well unless you like clearing jams. :-)

Yeah, I got a thousand rounds of .223 for damned near a steal a few months ago, now I'm afraid to fire it for just that reason. Lol

My mini will too. But it also picky with mags. The only ones it likes are the tapco plastic 30 rd mags of which they don't make anymore

Ive alway stuck with Ruger mags. I have a couple Pro mags a friend gave me. They're worth scrap metal prices not a penny more.

I've got two 20 rd Ruger mags and those have feed problems too. I don't get it. Everyone says those are the best.

I don't even try to use the generic 30 rd metal mags I have anymore. They are worthless

These work great IF you can find them. I read Tapco went out of business. Cabelas used to have them for $20 a pop but usually only had 1 or 2 on the shelf.
