Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]
I'm betting that if they produced one of these graphs on best golfer vs best 3rd down scrambles by QB, Patrick would still be in the top right corner. [Reply]

Yeah, for QBs like Brady and Mahomes to contribute such a high EPA/play in the postseason with their sample sizes is already incredible. Then you consider the fact that they’re both typically always playing very deep in the postseason where all of the teams left are great. That makes it even more amazing.
At this point more than half of the playoff games Mahomes has played are either Super Bowls or Championship games. You’re only playing elite teams in those bouts.
Josh Allen has played well in the postseason, but he’s only played in one Championship game. Basically all of his postseason experience is in the Wild Card or Divisional.. though to give him credit, his season has ended at our hands three times and we’re the best in the business so I guess he gets some grace there. He's also played good games against us 2/3 times. His 2021 postseason run was virtually perfect if it wasn't for 13 seconds. [Reply]

The most overrated player in football, yes.
Josh Allen, on the other hand, is looking like all-time great level QB that has become underrated and that's mostly because he had the misfortune of running up against the GOAT Mahomes and the Chiefs so many times now. [Reply]

Will his playoff success be remembered like Charles Barkley’s or Hakeem Olajuwon’s? [Reply]
