The mighty Bills from Buffalo will take the AFC this year.
For two decades I watched people say the Patriots window was closed, that their time was dwindling, that it was all over… seemingly every time those predictions happened, the Patriots went and won another Super Bowl.
A lot of doom talk simply because we lost to the Bengals in the playoffs. Let us not forget that the Bills watched their brother DIE on the field just a few weeks prior. Their heart was simply not in it. If it had been, the Bills would have captured the AFC last year.
The Bills have won 2 of their last 3 in Arrowhead and they’re ready to make it 3 of the last 4.
That play that he got injured on was on 2nd and goal with the Bills holding a four point lead. Even if he wants to go for the TD there was plenty of space to try going around the guy.
What’s funny is these are the types of plays Bills fans point to when they say Allen has to do it all on his own. I mean, no he doesn’t. They just like padding his stats and he runs an inordinate amount of time in the red zone (called runs and scrambles) because he can’t read defenses well enough in those tight spaces. And they basically refuse to run Cook down there. [Reply]

It's funny how polar opposite the QBs are. Allen is hard carrying total scrubs while Hill and co. are hard carrying Tua.
Between Tua, Hurts, Burrow and Purdy, the league has never seen such mediocre and overrated QBs get propped up by those around them to this degree. [Reply]

I was expecting this conversation about week 8 or 9. It was week 1....:-)

There was some really bad football played yesterday.
In terms of teams that looked like they were executing at somewhat of a high level, here's what I saw. I didn't see everything, but here's what I saw.
Chiefs
Ravens
Rams
Lions
Saints
Teams that are probably OK, but too hard to tell from week 1.
Eagles
Packers
Texans (they were pretty sloppy)
Colts (they were pretty sloppy)
Bills (if Allen lives) [Reply]
Like I said before the season, with the lack of weapons forcing Allen to run more, and the fact that he's objectively due for an injury, I'd be shocked if he makes it out another season without a significant injury. [Reply]
