Well, and actually drafting Assweiler over Wilson and then taking Lynch. [Reply]

They also have a R2, two R3 and two R4 picks in this draft. That's 5 solid picks and they can move up a bit if they like and it won't cost much.
In fairness, I think the world has changed for quarterbacks. They're so protected that there's a reasonable chance that a good QB will play into his early 40s, so trading for a good 33 year-old quarterback is worth a big payment to potentially get 10 years without the risk of a bust. As much as I hate to say it, it's not a bad trade for Denver.
I do think Wilson may be on the shorter end of the lifespan given his mobility, but he's lasted this long so who knows. [Reply]

I give Oz a pass because his relief duty work was near perfect. But Lynch...a QB from Memphis and an idiot. Talking to him for 30 seconds should have said...nah...we'll do something else....like anything else. [Reply]
I think it is better for the Donks to have Wilson...the talking heads on the NFL shows have him as the 3rd best QB in the AFCW. That sounds about right. He HAS to be better than the mascara marvel. [Reply]

Imagine the Donks drafting Josh Allen. Geez that gives me the willies. Mahomes, Herbert, and Allen. 4 games, almost a quarter of the season, are a complete crapshoot.
Of course, then you could get to see them again in the playoffs. Some great football. [Reply]

All I will say is that Wilson was the guy that I hoped they targeted months ago... my ideal option was Watson, but he's damn near untouchable. So, if they were going to give up a bounty, Wilson was my hope. [Reply]
