IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

So where are the gutless cowards and vultures trashing Mahomes at this week?

Twelve TD's in his last three games including 3 TD's In three out of his last four games. The defense is pissing me off but it seems like Pat might be starting to put on his cape now. Let's hope this continues cause if we have a fully confident 15 out there we all know what he can do.

Didn't feel like he was seeing ghosts out there today. Only time he struggled was when the OL struggled. Honestly a huge relief.

There were still some WTF comments directed at him in that game thread. I don't get it. This OL is not very good. Watch how long Josh Allen & Bryce Young had to throw the ball the last two weeks, and then compare it with Mahomes as soon as he drops back. And the Chiefs defense has looked pretty bad against Tampa, Buffalo, & Carolina. But people would rather trash the QB. Lot of people taking him for granted.

It reflects how some of this fanbase has gotten pretty spoiled by success in recent years but it still doesn't excuse trashing the best player in football because he missed some throws in October/November during a 10-1 season.

If he's not the most sure thing in the clutch of any athlete ever in any sport, I'm not sure who else it could be. He will be there when it matters.

He was great today. Another example of Mahomes pulling out a win that would have been a WTF loss in the Alex era.

We’re seeing him start to heat up. Getting Hollywood, Humphries and Pacheco injected into this offense should make it ever better.

Offense looks significantly better than it did this time last year
+1

We are so spoiled.. We take him for granted and if he doesn't put the Superman cape on every game people turn on him.. He's earned my respect and my patience when he struggles..

It's crazy to me

this guy saved this organization from terminal post season failure and disappointment. Ya he hasn't hit some deep throws and has made more bad passes this season than any other season. But he also just led another comeback 4th quarter drive to win it once again.

He's certainly got a lifetime pass from me to figure out any insignificant regular season issues he might be having.

If he hasn't earned that by now with all Chiefs fans, I honestly don't know what more he has to do. Literally any other fanbase would trade their entire franchise core just to have this guy play one season for them.

He has been missing his top 2 WR's, #1 RB, and the LT has been a shit show.

Through all that still one of the best in the league while Kelce and D Hop look like they are on a pitch count.
