There isn't a single Chiefs fan who thought Josh Allen would be good. I had him as my avatar for a good chunk of that offseason, and frequently referred to him as "the better version" of Mahomes.
I feel embarrassed for you, that you get you had to share that story. Just goes to show how horrendous your own player evaluation skills are. Tbh, I’m not positive you’re not Failway himself. [Reply]

You liked Josh Allen so much that you said you’d take Darnold, Baker and Rosen over him :-)

If we don't draft a QB and need a starter to hold the fort while waiting on Lynch/Kelly:
5. Tyrod
6. Sam Bradford
7. Bridgewater
8. Keenum (too much money)
If we trade away Lynch and Siemian, don't draft a QB:
9. Cousins
If we draft a rookie in the top 5
10. McCown
11. Ryan Fitzpatrick
12. Chase Daniel
13. Matt Moore
If they're still there at the end of the third or fourth round:
14. Lamar Jackson
15. Mason Rudolph

Only because of the risk. Paxton Lynch was scarring.
I had multiple conversations with staylor defending Josh Allen. He didn't think a QB with sub 60% passing in college could improve in the pros and I kept saying that Stafford and Russ did. [Reply]

He had 12 sacks as a rookie.
Tore is ACL in his second season.
Made the Pro Bowl in his third season.
Got hurt again in his 4th season.
How is that a major bust?
And LMFAO at Shaq Barrett. I told you guys that you should sign him when he was a free agent and everyone told me he was trash. [Reply]

LMFAO at you trying to laugh off the fact that EVERYTHING I said is true. You guys PASSED ON JOSH ALLEN for Bradley BUST Chubb, with Barrett still on the roster. EVERYONE here told you how stupid it was, and now, as usual, you're doubling down on stupid! Keep being you...:-) [Reply]

Those are very Dee Ford type numbers. Only difference is Ford was a late 1st. Chubb was what… 5th overall?
That’s where the disappointment lies. You drafted him hoping he’d have done more than that especially when you let Barrett walk. There were a ton of great players you could have had instead (which includes other pass rushers). [Reply]
All the Broncos had to do was draft Josh Allen instead of Bradley Chubb and they would have easily been able to keep Barrett and possibly be a Super Bowl contender.

After talks with people around the league, the three teams that come up most often are Denver, Philadelphia and Washington, with a little Carolina talk. Based on what I know, Wilson would be more amenable to Denver than the NFC East."

How quickly you forget.
I told you over and over when the pick happened why it was a waste of a pick.
Drafting Bradley Chubb was one of the worst picks in the last ten years when you factor in the whole picture. For that pick to be considered good, he would have needed to be on a hall of fame pace by now, and he clearly isn’t even close.
When you jettison Derek Wolfe and Shaq Barrett to draft an edge player top 5, he needs to be remarkable. [Reply]
