Nzoner's Game Room>Let’s talk about the Texans

They are good and tough, noon game at Arrowhead. Your thoughts?

Wish the guys well, but the injuries to Hump and Conner have positioned this team to perform better IMO.

McDuffie going back in the slot instantly had a large impact Sunday. Thuney at LT consistently provides resistance which is a major plus over what the other guys did at times.

I understand if they want to give Humphries another go and see if he can knock rust off, but based on what we’ve seen so far, our best line was the one we fielded against Cleveland.

The Texans could still get the 3 seed. That at least gives them a shot to host a divisional matchup if the Bills were to fall on their face in the wild-card round and it means they have a better chance of avoiding KC in that round as well. It's not "nothing" even if it isn't much to play for.

Exactly. There's no guarantees. The same applies to the Chiefs and their seeding.

That sounds like a guy who is playing no doubt, barring setback. He wants to try to win the next two and take his rest on the backend.

It would be best case scenario, but far from guaranteed.
Nothing is guaranteed. That's why he wants to play. And that's why he should.

He's gonna play.

And he'll look mostly fine. They'll tape the shit out of his ankle and he'll play the way he's played most of the year.

It's not what I'd do, but it is what it is.

Houston is kind of a mirror image of us. Really good defense, dynamic QB, but overall bad offense because of offensive line issues.

But I'd love to bring him back in 25 and give him every opportunity to earn that spot after a full offseason with us

Fuck. I hate this motherfucker.

Carl Cheffers is the referee this Saturday for Chiefs-Texans. His last Chiefs game was the infamous Kadarius Toney offside penalty in the Chiefs-Bills game. pic.twitter.com/JreCTSxJG1
