It’s happening: Titans and Chiefs are working to finalize a trade that would send WR DeAndre Hopkins to Kansas City, league sources tell ESPN. pic.twitter.com/aEeKEgI2D8

A key veteran who could be the final piece, Hopkins name has been hot in the trade market. Now, he lands with the champs. pic.twitter.com/GRvRbUwux6

That cannot be said of Cooper.
Part of the reason the Bills lost to us was bc their WR’s couldn’t catch. If Diggs made this catch it would have changed the game and given them a much better chance to win.
Who do you trust to make the catch on this throw? Cooper or Hopkins? I easily trust Hopkins to make this catch
The deal is now done. The #Titans will pay about half of Hopkins' salary.
It may take some time, because Hopkins will have to sign a new contract with the #Titans -- then he'll be traded to the #Chiefs. https://t.co/hor9cd6obh
If the Titans are paying about half, that suggests we're on the hook for about $4 million?
Would eat up almost all of our remaining cap space but that doesn't matter a ton. Taylor has a pretty substantial base that we can probably move around a tick without too much trouble.
Wish we'd have found a different way to get Travis his bump than a big ass roster bonus though. There's not a lot of wiggle left in his deal, but we might be able to find a couple million there (which would be enough for a guy like Slayton).

That'll work.
He has 5.3 million remaining so half that. [Reply]
