Hopefully Hardman can come close to matching Tyreek's rookie production (61 catches for 593 yards, 6 TD's, 3 rushing TD's, and 3 kick/punt return TD's) as he learns the Chiefs offense and becoming an NFL WR.
Also Tyreek's rookie production was with Alex Smith at QB so Hardman already has an advantage in terms of who will be throwing him the ball. [Reply]

Hardman did a lot of these jet sweeps in college. The difference between Hill and Hardman is Hill can make contested catches. Hardman has a total of 0 contested targets last year [Reply]

I mean Vegas already had Hardman as tied for the fourth best odds to win rookie of the year [Reply]

Well you cant show you can make a contested catch if you aren't even thrown the ball.
Maybe Hardman is just so good and so fast that he turns contested plays into uncontested plays.

I think the Sammie Coates addition will surely help. He’s really fast and even though he has suspect hands, he’s been good before.
I like having him as depth. Could be used similarly to Albert Wilson. [Reply]

He had a couple of contested catches in his 2017 highlights. [Reply]
It was probably covered, but I thought it was interesting that the Jets were surely going to take him... sounds like the Chiefs got tipped off somehow... [Reply]

Eagles were about to trade the 57 pick to the Jets. Somebody in that war room probably still has connections with Reid and let him know [Reply]
Jets tried to position themselves to trade up into 2nd round for Georgia WR Mecole Hardman, per sources... but Chiefs traded up 1 spot ahead (No. 56 overall) to get him to be a potential replacement for Tyreek Hill.
How do you not give the Chiefs an A for their draft now. Looking at all this information coming out now Veach played it perfectly. What looked like a reach at the time was an extremely calculated measure to get their guy.

Fucking boss.
I gave them a B because of the lack of a decent CB. [Reply]
