Black and brown don't work well together, and there is a lot of black on those shoes. I'm not a fan of boat shoes either, though.

Um, I like the comfort of Clarks. The couple pairs I have now are so comfy. I wish that little black/red stripe wasn't on them, but I think they look pretty sharp from above.

They've been around forever, and they got super popular again about 3 years ago. Something else will pop up and take their place. These trends generally only last for a few years.
