Well they're doing a stellar job right now of owning last place for a decade. Like I told you they would post Manning. :-)

Technically they’ve only finished last 3 times.

Oh sure, but have had 5 losing seasons in a row and have had the worst W / L record in the division over that time span, so ...:-)

Well, sure there's that... but things are cyclical as I've said. It won't last too much longer.

Don't bet on it...
You didn't think it would last this long. You were talking "quick fix" and "hardly a collapse" and the streak would "not reach 5" etc. I had somewhat of a different opinion that has been proven right thus far. And I'm still sticking to my decade of suck prediction as we enter year 7.

That was the first shoe to drop, essentially saying the Packers are going to do the things that Aaron Rodgers wants to happen.

“Everybody I’ve talked to says the conversations since the end of the season have been positive and optimistic. If they get Davante Adams done, I believe there will be reassurances that Randall Cobb will be done. And of course the contract, which the Packers also are willing to adjust to make Rodgers happy. As long as this thing doesn’t go sideways, this still feels to me that Aaron Rodgers will return tot he Packers.”

Bookmark this post so we can make fun of it properly over the next 5-10 years.

Yeppers. You better hope the Raiders continue to raider because the Chiefs and Chargers are looking pretty good for a while.

The Raiders are better than Denver. They just had one of the most tumultuous seasons ever, and they still swept Donk! :-)

I've been hearing about these contract negotiations for over a week. Is this why they have been unable to come to terms? The Packers aren't going to destroy their cap in the future for one more year of Rodgers and nobody is going to give up anything significant if Rodgers won't waive his opt-out.

Any new deal for Aaron Rodgers is irrelevant past this year. He has an out next year to be a FA and pick his team.

Can’t see AR doing that. More valuable than $. https://t.co/h8d6o2CFSa

That you think Rodgers is going to the Donks at all.

Even funnier that you think Denver will get him for THEIR price and not have to pay out the ass.

Andrew Brandt is a moron.

A "new deal" would negate his existing contract so the out year is irrelevant...

From Matt Verderame:

“Everyone at the combine pretty much knows that Rodgers is staying, so what does Denver do? I think they go for Carson Wentz or Jimmy Garopollo. They need a QB and this seems like all that’s left.”

I'd rather have Wentz than Cousins or Jimmy G. At least he has MVP level upside and an easy to get out of contract that is relatively affordable. He won't cost an arm and a leg to bring in either.

If the Broncos miss out on Rodgers and Russ this year, Wentz would be a decent 1 year rental until Rodgers comes to us free of charge in 2023.
