Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]

He literally stepped on the side of his foot and his ankle tweaked. Everybody has done that at least once in their life. It just happened to be the ankle he already hurt. [Reply]

The old basketball ankle sprain is what it looked like. [Reply]

I didn’t see that in the broadcast.
They’ve got a couple good slow-mos from great angles and if anything it looks like his left ankle flexes inward a bit at one point. I don’t see him stepping on the side of his foot. Where do you see that? [Reply]
I just about fainted when he got dinged on his ankle. I went from thinking oh shit it’s his Achilles then I saw another angle and I thought he might have fucked up his hip. [Reply]

Don't know what to say man. I watched it all those ways just like you did. It appeared to me he stepped on the side of his foot. [Reply]
Not sure if it was posted but I like Cowherd’s analogy to Mahomes/Chiefs being like Jason Bourne. No matter the situation or how unlikely it may look he finds a way. You think you’ve got him and he finds a rolled up newspaper and beats you with it to get away.
