Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.
Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon?
Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware? [Reply]

Boy this is the truth. Been checking some of my usual go-to online retailers, and holy shit are they picked over. Buds only has TWO Glock pistols for sale right now, both overpriced, customized and silly (an aqua blue 43X? Yuck).
Palmetto has some S&W M&P Model 2.0s in 9mm for a reasonable price - just under $600. Oak Hill has some CZ P-10 S 9MM 10 round compacts for $560.
I'd buy either of those. I've owned an M&P in the past and have a couple of CZs that I absolutely love.
Normally I'd advise anybody looking to buy to wait things out, but considering how crazy the world is now, shit, who knows? [Reply]
You can find some Ruger LC9S around they are normally under $450
Springfield XdM Elite can be found for under $600 (I will never buy Springfield again due to their gun control bullshit they pulled)
Walther has a PPX can be found around $450
Jump on gunbroker.com and do some searching find something you like, buy it and have it transferred to your local gun shop. That’s what I have been doing for about a year now since everything is so priced up. You can still find some decent deals that way and your local gun shop still gets some money. I can track down some more for you and hook you up with some links [Reply]

But here's s short list of compact semi-auto 9mm that are good choices and might be close to $600:
Glock 19 (any gen)
S&W M&P9C 2.0
S&W M&P40C 2.0
H&K VP9
Springfield Armory XD(M)
Ruger SR9C
FN 509
SIG 320
Walter PPQ M2
Stoeger STR-9C
Beretta APX Centurion
I don't know that these cost today brand new, but all of them with a couple exceptions were either under or close to the $600 mark before COVID. [Reply]
One available now for $550. What do we think of the Glock G45 9mm Fixed?
Glock 45 9mm Fixed
The Compact Crossover pistol G45 in 9x19mm combines a compact slide with a full size frame and has all the benefits of a Gen5 model. Utilizing the design and engineering GLOCK developed for its military pistols (G19X), combined with Operator and worldwide Law Enforcement specifications.

Nothing wrong with it. The grip/frame is a bit big for concealed carry if you're my size (5' 8", 165 lbs), but probably most men can find a way to work around it.

And it's available, so, beggars . . .
It is a large carry.
But I've carried a 34/35 IWB so no problems for me. [Reply]
