Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]
I have to say its a weird feeling when your QB is having a terribad year statistically, but you still have all the faith in the world that he'll get the job done when you need him to.
I thought last year was weird. This year is straight up bizarre. [Reply]

It's called confidence, something rarely experienced by Chiefs fans PM (Pre-Mahomes.) Embrace it. It's the antidote to "because Chiefs." [Reply]
We talked alot about it in the 2022/23 offseason about how much of that offense was driven by the RB, specifically, McKinnon, catching teh ball out of the backfield.

Leads the league in 4th quarter QBR right now. Even in a bad year, he’s still got elite traits in there. [Reply]

I think these last couple years have made me appreciate how much Mahomes wants to win. Thats all he's about. Other QBs and players with his kind of talent would throw a hissyfit about their stats, let their ego get in the way, or get down on themselves about it. Not Mahomes. He'll have bad games, have a bad year, have the entire offense turn into a ground and pound running attack with timely throws while the defense shines. He doesn't care. He'll adapt and do whatever you say if he believes it will lead to a win. And he's still Him. He'll demand the ball when he needs to deliver the kill shot.
I've never experienced such an odd, steady confidence about a player, no matter the circumstances. [Reply]
