Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.
Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon?
Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware? [Reply]

Something doesn't smell right here, we're hearing a lot of excuses (like hunting rounds such as 243 and 30-06 have been sacrificed in production in favor of 223), but then none of us is stepping up and saying that they're seeing the ammo.
It seems like after most of the trucks leave the manufacturer's loading docks they drive into a lake.
Breaking News.
Livesteam traded 400 small rifle primers for 400 large rifle primers and has now reloaded eight rounds in 300 Savage by resizing 308 lake city brass for testing.
4 rounds loaded with 37.5 grains of H-335 with 150 grain RN interlock bullet
4 rounds with CFE 223 with the same interlock bullet.

Have you tried showing up at your LGS on delivery day when they open?
Three panics ago, before I started reloading/stocking up on ammo, I would show up at 5:30am (store didn't open until 7) at Sportsman's Warehouse and get in line, usually about 60th or 80th or whatever, and by the time I got in the store, after they'd brought in a couple pallet-loads of ammo, and usually all or nearly all the .223 or 9mm would already be gone. Same deal everywhere in PHX that time around. [Reply]

Ive been looking since I contacted you about it.
I laid out 740.00 for the Rem Model 81 and have been forced to just looking at it.
Were just a day or so away from finally being able to feed it.
Nice to hear your press is back in the game.
I went to the indoor range a week ago. People were lined up around the building. I thought they were late opening the door but the line (over 100 people) were in line to buy primers. [Reply]
They are extremely hard to come bye.
These asshole that post vids on Youtube showing off their stock of 20,000 plus primers. 500lbs worth of powders and bullet stocks that have to run close to half a ton.
They need shunned and belittled by the shooting community. [Reply]

No, but I may have to start doing just that. But I have called them, from Bass Pro to Blue Steel G&A, and have asked if "getting there at the ass-crack of dawn" will help me get some .243 and/or .30-06, and both have said it would not.
I suppose that's where the excuse-makers will pivot to the, "they're not really making either of those rounds, they're only making 9mm and .223" excuses. And they've told me they don't get many of those either.
Again, something doesn't smell right. Ask the new gun owners if they're getting rounds and they'll tell you they aren't. So again, it's all about the smell. [Reply]

He did give me a lead. He said they are selling it cheaper than he can.Not cheap (like the good old days) but reasonable comparatively speaking. Kansas City Metro Company. Bought a "box" from them. https://www.rogerssportinggoods.com/Ammunition
The power of CP checking Rodgers Lures website today and ammo is nearly wiped out. I am good but I was curious. [Reply]

So I check in on the board at half time and see that there has been activity in this thread during the game and then realize it was a donk fan. Makes sense. [Reply]
