Sounds like a good thing. Crossing my fingers that you get it.
Boss' wife is out of town. He didn't have anyone to watch their soon-to-be three year old son. His "working from home" must be code for "bring my son to work and have him annoy others while I get some work done."
My attorney's oldest daughter (19) stopped by for a few minutes this morning. And then there's the attorney I mentioned a little bit ago (finally left, thank goodness). Now, a coworkers sons stopped in (16 and 13). I gave her some grief about it on her facebook page.
So the City of "Manhappenin" KS has 2 roundabouts and one is on a fairly well travelled street. I was sitting at a store that abuts this roundabout at "quitting time" last night (between 5-5:30) and it was the most entertainment I've had in some time. No one uses their turn signals so the yield signs are really a "is that dumbass going forward or are they gonna keep turnin and I'm gonna sit here til I'm sure" or "I'll sit here 'til there aint a soul comin and then practically run into the dumbass to the right that had no idea what I was doin'" I take the side streets so I don't have to deal with it. May not save time but I'm certainly a mellower driver for it.
Come to New England. Rotaries abound. They're survival of the fittest (or those with a death wish).
Just got off a weeklong RCCL cruise from Boston (Portland ME, Bar Harbor ME, St. John's NB Canada, Halifax NS Canada). Great to do, hate to come home from. So, I assume I didn't miss much? The Raiders kicked the Chiefs' asses last week, as expected? :-)
Okay, I never use anything but IE because I'm lazy. But, on my notebook computer, IE was lagging, so I opened Google Chrome for maybe the second time since I've had it (and IIRC the first time I barely used it). And these are the ad choices it made for me? :-)
