I know there are enough of us to participate in this thread, even when our seasons inevitably go to shit.
KSU vs Western Illinois today, tip-off at 3:00 pm.
One thing I noticed near the end of the game on Friday night - we had 5 true freshman on the court, and still played sound basketball. None of them were scrub walk-ons either. While I don't think we will make a serious run at anything this year, the foundation is being laid for a solid program in the future. [Reply]

Couple this season's results - with a roster made up of castaways - with the recruits we having coming in (RJ, Macaleab, Dai Dai) and the inevitable TP guys we'll get... and the future is bright.
Now we just need to back up the Brinks truck.
Yup, the Purples should be asking Tang what it would take for a LT extension with a hefty raise and escalators for continuing the improvements.
I can't say Tang is my favorite KSU coach, but that's only because Frank Martin is the f'n man. [Reply]
I really DGAF who wins a tourney after we are out. Or who wins games. Just want to see pimps and KSU has two of them. That was some cold blooded shit at the end. Actually I am lying, I want the blue bloods to lose so Kentucky getting punked was cool. I’m prob rooting for Zags because they deserve one, Few is a good dude who got that DUI after Baylor ruined his perfect season [Reply]

What a game. Man, that was insanely stressful. So many ties and lead changes. Huge game from Nowell, Johnson, and Massoud. Big guys were running on high foul counts all game. Very smart and efficient play by the Cats tonight. Really impressive win. I didn't know what to expect with this game. It did not disappoint.

Good for the Wildcats and their fans. It was quite a game. [Reply]
Nowell might have the best vision of any point guard I've ever seen at K-State. He has close to Mahomes level vision of the court out there. Really impressive. Some of those assists tonight were just ridiculous. And he even left the game at one point after a nasty ankle roll. [Reply]
