My step dad had one....light metallic blue with white vinyl top & white leather interior..that car floated down the road.
Last I rode in it was when I was a kid and I can verify it rode like a damned dream. I think I made it like 2 miles before I was zonked out in the back seat. [Reply]

It has the shitty old mechanical one on the side of the block. I was thinking about getting one of the fuel pump and regulators to put up on the fender well inside since there is about 3 acres of space on each one [Reply]

Our 80 had a shitload of trouble with vapor lock. It’s possible we didn’t have something right with the carb. We put a motor in from I think an 89 or something. Either way, We put ours back by the gas tank. The line is pretty easy to get to and it’s away from all the heat. [Reply]

...full kits aren't too pricey...
those things were always prone to rust.
I'd get the full poly kit if it were me. Tighten her up a little too [Reply]
Yeah it will be a good one, I’m not taking any chances with a cheap one. With my luck I will have to go through a couple to find one that works then it will leave me stranded somewhere a few hours from home in the middle of the night
I am doing all new fuel and brake lines so I might put the pump at the tank and a regulator on the fender. I was thinking only one line cut that way but if I’m replacing everything it won’t matter [Reply]
