Hey any of you guys know anybody local who will port heads and put new spings and valves in, and do a good job

Also drove the truck around the other day, carb is super rich and the fucker died trying to shift and then wouldn’t start up again until after I turned the key off, pumped the gas once and then restarted it. Would fire right up then but not before

Jeff City would be great, means after they are done I can pick them up and be home within an hour. Since I’m just right north of Columbia now

Did it act flooded? Are the choke and vacuum advance working?

I think the electric choke might be sticking some, it seems to not want to kick down off of the fast idle. The vacuum is probably all jacked as well

What is it that you can spray around the vacuum lines to find a leak?

Didn't really act flooded, just on a slight incline it would keep dying, and I would have to go through the shut it off, pump the throttle then it would fire right up

If it doesn't have an electric fuel pump put one on.

1983 GMC 3/4 ton 454 with a LP kit (I don't even..) but the Quadrajet is still on there. I think you're just supposed to flip a switch to get it back to gasoline.

Sat for probably 6 years, but I think it runs. Pretty straight everywhere. Didn't see rust anywhere.

Spoiler!

I think it is a 1975 (ish?) I'll have to check on the year Chrysler New Yorker. They bought this new and it has 34,000 actual miles. Dad says it has a 383 in it. It's really straight and no rust. Been inside as long as I've been alive. But it's sat for probably 20 years. I can't imagine the motor is bad, but I can't imagine it doesn't need something. The 8-track is complimentary.

Spoiler!

Anybody have any ideas what we need to get out of these?
I might be interested in that New Yorker.

Seriously.
