Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]

Alex Smith and Dee Ford. The only players able to stop Mahomes. [Reply]
Think this year is definitely another MVP level season in the making.
In the early part of the year, I think we light up scoreboards, and may even have to win a couple shootouts while the defense gets healthier and figures their formula out; typical for a Spags group.
If the offense stays relatively healthy Mahomes could easily be looking at another 5k total yards season, 40 TDs, 12 or less INTs.
I’m seeing a 2018-19 like attack where some weeks it’s Kelce getting 100, others it’s Brown and Worthy racking up big plays, and a lot of weeks I expect Rice to just move the chains and be the dude to have in fantasy bc of PPR.
Regardless though it’s an incredibly complementary set of pass catchers where unless your pass rush can dominate KC’s line, I think defenses are just gonna have to pick their poison every week. Do you wanna die a slow death or take the chance that Worthy and Brown for some reason can’t connect deep with Mahomes that day. [Reply]

5 SB appearances in 6 years and a threepeat would do significant damage to Brady’s legacy.

A 3-peat and/or 20-0 are two examples there.
I’m pretty sure we will get our 3peat.
An undefeated season falls more and more out of reach as the number of games increase and there is the likelihood that in the last game you’re just going to be able to rest people because you’ve already won what you need if you’re a tremendous team.
I think getting more rings than Brady is much more realistic than an undefeated season.
When we talk about the greatest ever, we should never forget that Montana never lost a Super Bowl. Brady lost three, and Eli clearly had his number. Mahomes lost one and while it was certainly excusable given the injuries to the OL, we still were not able to win it. Maybe if Hill had caught that first touchdown pass that bounced off his mask. Darrel Williams had the infamous face mask TD drop, but I count Tyreek’s drop and there were two other TD (or near-TD) drops as well. It’s been so long and I’ve tried to scrub the memory of that game, though I feel confident in saying one of them was Robinson. [Reply]

It was Darrell instead of Damien. The other drop I remember from that game was Kelce in the first quarter on 3rd down. Would have picked up 20+ yards and who knows how that drive might have gone. But the drop led to a punt. And it was a bad omen for the rest of the game. [Reply]
