Okay, here is a place for the Golfers to talk about tournaments, clubs, swing help or thoughts.
Today is the Players Championship, which I think ought to be the 5th Major. Largest pot in the PGA. The daunting 17th, which seems to bring excitement every year. At least we will get to see Sergio blow up yet again.
Muffner is -7 through 16 and -9 for the tournament. Needs to par in to set the course record and tie the major record. One under gives him 62 and the record all to himself. [Reply]
Picked up an Odyssey Protype Black #9 - gaming it for the first time this morning. Kinda hoping it knocks my Cameron Monterrey out of the bag.
Also decided to kick the driver out of the bag for good. Going with the 13.5 3-wood. But now in have an extra spot in the bag - at least for today, I might be the first golfer ever to carry two putters. [Reply]

so, do you anticipate losing one in the pond :-) [Reply]
Furyk with a 1 shot lead heading into the final day. Dufner 1 back. Guys like Stenson and Scott lurking. Rory and Westwood are tied for 7th but 6 shots back. [Reply]

I still think Muffner is the favorite, although I could see Stenson winning as well. Furyk usually just gets into position to choke at majors (Olympic, Winged Foot) and I don't expect anything different from him here. [Reply]

Furyk and the chicken wing swing might don't got it
Dufner should pull it out if he can stay out of the water [Reply]
Duff man was chicken arming some of his tee shots yesterday, I watch all these tourneys and he's never really done that. His putts were short too, just like they were last week at Bridgestone when he was trying to work into contention. (He missed 5 putts within 6 feet or so). His cool demeanor is hiding the fact that yes, he's nervous just like others. Faldo even noticed it yesterday. [Reply]
