I know EXACTLY what you're talking about and I'm going to do it. Holy shit, how did I miss on this my whole life? [Reply]

Put the cheese meatball inside the two onion halves, then take two pieces of bacon and wrap them outside like duct tape to hold the bomb together. Put a shishkabob shake through the ball to give it a handle, cut the excess off the stick. Make up about six of these, put them on a broiler pan where the grease can drain, heat oven to 400 and bake for about an hour. Brush on your favorite BBQ sauce and put them back in the over for about another 15 minutes. Pull them out, let them cool for about 10 minutes, and you have BBQ Bacon Onion Bombs. And they are DA BOMB.

You've got me here, never heard of the 4 slices thing.. is that maybe to keep it from swelling up in the middle to where the center doesnt lay flat on the pan? [Reply]

This is pretty close to how I make them, but I put a shish kabob stick thru each bomb to give them a handle, so you can dip them in BBQ sauce as you eat them. The meatball should be about the size of a golf ball.Cut the excess off the stick, just enough for a handle. http://www.littlethings.com/bbq-bacon-meatball-recipe/ [Reply]

You got those beans and broccolli in many of your dishes. You buy one of those Costco 10 gallon can of green beans? :-) [Reply]
