I think I'd just stop watching football entirely if I was a Broncos fan and they brought in Cousins.
I think I'd just be done.
They've already had Case Keenum, who's like the same exact guy. You're not winning shit that way.
Hopelessness as a football fan is when you're terrible, and you fire everyone just to bring in...the same shit you fired the last bunch of guys for.
It's spinning your wheels and I think I'd just quit. [Reply]

What's so strange about it? Shitty teams in need of coaches do this literally every year. [Reply]

Not really. The gameplan is already in place at that point. [Reply]

I really don't understand why interviews happen during the playoffs. It's the worst time for candidates to be interviewing.
I recognize the party line that it doesn't penalize a coordinator for being in the playoffs, but there's an easy response to that. Don't allow anyone to interview until after the Super Bowl. Problem solved. [Reply]

Yeah, I don't see them ever doing that... but, I just find it strange that a coach would be allowed to interview for another gig within a few days of a big playoff game. [Reply]

We at least made the playoffs from time to time and didn't have back to back to back to back to back losing seasons, and NEVER lost 13 times in a row (and counting) to a division rival.. :-) [Reply]
