Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]
Half an hour after a two-hour practice in 100-degree heat index, Patrick Mahomes is still talking with some fans and signing autographs. pic.twitter.com/gTvpg0Cw8y
I told people after watching spring practice, that he looks like Mahomes. He sorta runs like Mahomes during AND AFTER the play, and he is a really, really good QB.
I know Mahomes has another decade at least, but if we had a chance to draft this kid in 4 years, we should definitely do it, even if it would be to keep him off of other teams.
By the end of his Junior year, he should be a lock for the #1 overall pick when decides to make himself eligible for the draft. [Reply]

well if he was a lock for the #1 pick then it would be impossible for the Chiefs to draft him [Reply]

You're generally a pretty good poster, but whenever you say stupid shit, it's never just kind of stupid. It's always full-blown AIDS-infested stupid. [Reply]

Wait wait wait. Thats a football player? I thought it was just some random student. Rofl
Cmom lets be real hes going to Nebraska. They'll fuck him up [Reply]
Veach: "Yeah. We need to talk draft strategy 4 years from now. I think we need to start saving up picks now so we can piss them all away and draft #1 overall in 2028. I'm already on the phone attempting to sell 2025 picks for ones several years down the road"
Clark: "Really? Why the hell would we need to do that? Mahomes will still be in his prime and wouldn't even turn 40 for another 8 years after that. He's got 3 rings, he's on the verge of being the first QB to win 3 straight, he's never seen a season as a starting QB end before overtime of the AFC championship, he's got-"
Veach: "Dylan Raiola out of Nebraska will likely declare for the draft in 2028."
Maybe we should draft that guy to be Mahomes' body double for signing autographs and making public appearances. That way Mahomes won't need to be bothered with the non-football demands. [Reply]
I didn't say replace Mahomes. Obviously if I think he is going to be the number one pick, I don't think the Chiefs can draft him. It was sarcastic hyperbole.
If NIL didn't exist, and his father didn't go to Nebraska, he probably would have been the new starting QB at Georgia soon. [Reply]
