What do you think is going to happen when #ThePatonPlan is executed?
:-)! Brady was a lucky pass away from losing to the Jets. What is your point? Shit happens, not every game is a 30 point blow out. You guys were whipping bad teams and then the real Broncos showed up against good teams and home is where you are. Take your the game was close moral victory and shove it. 13 straight! Andy owns you and he will keep owning you. There is no end in sight. [Reply]
Knowmo, I'm gonna be honest with you. I know you won't be honest with us and just lash out with more bullshit, but here are my thoughts.
Every once in awhile, it's possible to win a Super Bowl with just running the ball and defense. You need way more than just a sometimes healthy Bradley Chubb and Pat Surtain (no, Baron von Butthole isn't a good player) but your defense has shown it can find ways to at times play like a top 10 unit. It's not consistent at all for you, but at times they're a good defense.
I honestly would keep doubling down on that formula, because it could work in two years or so. Make Williams your primary ballcarrier, invest in more offensive line via free agency, and hope one of your enormous receiving disappointments stops being a pile of crap and can actually pair with Sutton (who needs to fucking stay healthy).
At the very least if the plan is done simply and efficiently, you can become a playoff team in two seasons. And you've still got some cap space and a high draft pick this year. You could make it happen if Paton really is as good as you think he is. Depending on the retread QB you find, you might be able to squeeze a Joe Flacco run out of him. Anything can happen.
That's what I'd do. Because you ain't finding an elite QB. Become the Tennessee Titans. That should be your model. [Reply]
What top HC prospect would consider coming to the AFCW? To a team with no QB... and ownership in flux? Two teams have new stadiums/fan bases and one has Mahomes.
There is almost no chance for a successful run...they dont have to draft capital to get a top QB...and there really isn't one in this years draft...so I've heard.
Doinks are screwed for a long time....at least 3 years. [Reply]
I just love the fact that he exposed how much it bothers him when the other Broncos fans sneer at his delusions, especially since it happens damn near every time he posts nowadays. [Reply]

In addition to my earlier comments... either Jimmy G or Kirk would be the best QB that Denver has had since 2015. Sadly. Jimmy G gets injured too much, hell he signed on with them in 2015 and has a QB record of 31-14 - that's a lot of games missed and has only 2 full seasons.
I'd likely lean towards Cousins over Jimmy just due to health and he has put up good numbers, but he's only 33-29-1 since 2018 in MN.
So, maybe they go get Flores as HC and Cousins as the QB - at 33, has another 5 years at least, maybe the price would be a little less than the others. Doubt it though and there's a massive year remaining on that contract for 2022. [Reply]

Jimmy didn't show up in San Fran until midway through the 2017 season. [Reply]
Jimmy G fucking sucks. He had what's probably the easiest ride a QB has ever had to the Super Bowl and still shat all over himself. No idea why you'd want the Broncos to entertain that. [Reply]

I never said that I wanted Denver to entertain him... that was not what I posted. [Reply]

They hitched their wagon to Teddy Bridgewater...their standards are pretty low.
Garappolo would be a decent choice...might at least keep the Donks from being swept by the Raiders.
He has got his team to the post season in a competitive division...and a SB. [Reply]
