Technically they are still playing for the 2 seed. That does matter as it comes with minimum 2 home games if you keep winning. They are 2 games back from Buffalo and have the head-to-head tie-breaker.
It's a crazy long shot since Buffalo is just playing tomato cans next 3 weeks, but I don't think NFL teams see it that way. [Reply]

They can still in theory get as high as the #2 seed, with a tie breaker over Buffalo… but they need the Bills to miraculously lose two more games. [Reply]
They don’t have anything really close enough to fight for. Almost a guarantee that they will be going on the road in divisional road if they make it there. [Reply]
