From "tomorrow" to "next week", not very surprising. That said, the team needs to move forward as if he's out for the season and start working a long term strategy, not a gap plan.

That’s not it. Andy saying “he’s for sure out this week” seems to indicate they don’t know how long it’ll be and if it was devastating, that’d always be a season-ender. [Reply]

If that’s the case why delay any announcement that he’s out for the season? It wouldn’t matter what type of injury it is for that announcement. [Reply]

Rashee misses 8 weeks. Mahomes has to learn to trust the other weapons. Kelce gets his swagger back.
Then Pacheco comes back as Hunt starts wearing down a bit. We lean heavily on the run for a couple weeks.
Rice comes back for that added dimension the last couple weeks of the season. The offense starts to gel.
Playoffs start and Hollywood Brown comes back in spot duty for the Divisional Round.
Our full offense isn’t unleashed until the Super Bowl.
Who needs a cigarette now?
Problem with the bolded part is that Rashee was cutting into Kelce’s catches. Now that Rashee is out Mahomes most likely defaults back to the one guy he always has leaned on prior to the first few games. Would love for him to trust his weapons, so we will see. [Reply]
