Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]
realMNChiefsfan's article about Mahomes after we picked him. Thought this quote was pretty interesting.

Sorry, fellas. I guess Bleacher Report videos only play on their app.
But, the video was Chris Simms and Matt Miller talking about the pick. Miller gave it an A and cited the perfect fit, while Simms went on to give it an A+ and said "This is Brett Favre. This is Aaron Rodgers." Simms called Mahomes his 'draft crush' and basically said he's going to light shit up with Reek, Maclin, and Kelce. [Reply]

On NFL.com.....David Carr said it was the perfect marriage. He said that everyone is comparing him to Jay Cutler but he said that Pat is nothing like Cutler. Pat is an awesome kid and reminded him of Brett Favre. [Reply]

Yeah, the Cutler comparisons are lazy IMO. Maybe the arm, but even then Cutler never really made off-platform throws when he had to.
Pat loves the game. He made it clear when he turned down the MLB opportunity to hopefully make it to the NFL. [Reply]

He can "flip" the ball 30 yards like Rodgers as well.
I love that.
He can be on the move and flip the ball without setting his feet. That is a huge talent which can kill a defense if they don't maintain their pass rushing lanes. [Reply]

Mahomes sounds and acts like a leader Cutler does neither of those things. [Reply]
