Chiefs are trading six-time Pro-Bowl WR Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins for five draft picks: a 2022 1st-round pick (No. 29), a 2nd-round pick (No. 50) and a 4th-round pick, as well as 4th- and 6th-round picks in the 2023 draft, sources tell ESPN.
The argument for trading Tyreek Hill is the same as when the Royals dealt Zack Greinke in 2010: you're losing a Hall of Famer, but he didn't want to stay, you get a bunch of future talent, and you can re-deploy the money elsewhere. We can only hope this trade works just as well.

Chances are Jameson isn't ready to play until about halfway through the season but the bigger issue is that it's almost guaranteed he can't participate fully in offseason stuff.
We can't afford to draft guys high that won't contribute IMMEDIATELY. Taking Jameson was a bad idea before they traded Tyreek. Now it's a luxury they simply cannot afford at any cost. [Reply]
Wow. Just wow. Very disappointed to see him go. But he held out for more money and last year he was not as effective as years past. So we'll see how this turns out. [Reply]
