Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]

But Brady seem to realize that his contract was almost immaterial, and what was far more important was his reputation as the GOAT. So, I think he was willing to leave a lot more on the table to help build the team. The financial status of his former wife is a supermodel might also have played a role here.
But mahones has so much opportunities to make money outside of what he is paid and has utilized this that I think it’s too bad he takes up as much cap space as he does. I mean no question he is absolutely worth it. But I think if he took up a bit less, it would be better for the team and ultimately for him in terms of earning potential. Not really a criticism. Just a thought.
And yet his floor is OT in the AFCCG and he's won 3 SBs. Go away. [Reply]

Woof. This is... ummmm, not a great take. But thanks for playing. [Reply]
Whitlock obviously doesn't believe the nonsense he spews out. If he bragged about the greatness of Mahomes, well, that defeats the purpose of his persona which is to be a contrarian. Also, unlike that massive schnozzel Nick Wright, he doesn't wanna come off as too much of a homer. So he stays in neutral. Throwing flames at the most opportune time.
I don't like his politics but he is a gifted sports writer. [Reply]

Perhaps, but the reality is that Manning struggled to get by Brady and the Patriots. KC doesn’t have that problem because Mahomes is the modern Brady and the Chiefs are the modern Patriots (without the cheating and dislikable head coach). [Reply]
