You’re talking BCS nonsense. The main reason that system of selecting teams was done away with was so that the extraneous BS that went on got put down and they could stop selecting teams for ‘other’ reasons for the top bowl games.
The whole purpose in creating the CFP committee was so that the ‘best 4 teams’ could be in the playoff.
Based on the results of today’s games, I’d say the committee did a pretty damn good job. [Reply]
