I've seen Rodgers quit in the playoffs. When a game seems out of reach, he will give up.
Mahomes doesn't know how to quit. He could be down three scores in the playoffs with 2:00 to play and he will give absolute max effort until the clock hits zero. That's just how he's wired. [Reply]
That 9er was sitting there waiting for him to throw that to Rice. Mahomes could have completed it probably but Rice likely gets lit up as soon as he catches it at the 4 yard line. It wasn't until Mahomes threw to Kelce that that guy turned towards the sideline. [Reply]

These trailing situations also force a more aggressive tempo where they snap the ball much earlier in the play clock. Mahomes is pretty much unstoppable in the hurry up, no huddle offense. I wish Andy would use it more often.
