Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]

Yeah. It’s his field awareness and game awareness and you should probably couple that with his understanding of the defense. Best I’ve seen. Lamar has extraordinary vision and is a great runner, but doesn’t understand defense to the degree Mahomes does.
Mahomes brain just shortcuts so much decision making in the move that it’s truly incredible.
Eventually he won’t be able to do it anymore, but he asks so little of his body when he does it he’ll be able to do it far longer than he has any business doing it. [Reply]
On the bomb to Hardman. Obviously the casual sheep are like "derppp double coverage, should've been picked!1!" - no. Mahomes clearly saw that Hardman was cooking 27 and that 31 was totally lost in coverage. He never had a chance to impact the play at all, never mind pick it off, and 27 was just trying to keep up with Hardman, again no threat to pick it off at all. As long as Pat didn't grossly underthrow it, which he didn't.
Special throw and play that should be getting more love. [Reply]

Mahomes is excellent at knowing when there's two guys close to the receiver but only one has a chance at defending the pass.
In their win over the 49ers, the @Chiefs became the first team ever to trail four separate times in a Super Bowl and come back to win. pic.twitter.com/HpFFbIfO2X
