Seems like the schedule makers have always tried to get the donks off to a good start. Thought that was maybe gonna be over since they became irrelevant several years ago. [Reply]

Jones has flashed this level of play in the past and could be in line for a Year 3 breakout campaign. Even with edge defender Bradley Chubb out for an extended period of time, this Broncos defensive front led by veteran Von Miller and Jones is going to be a force to be reckoned with. Pair that with a stellar coverage unit, and Denver is fielding arguably the best defense in the NFL.
I for one am glad to see the entirety of the AFC West stepping up. Makes these rivalries much more interesting and fun. Also makes it fun when Mahomes and his team are overlooked and "come out of nowhere" later on.

But THIS year is not the year to mount any kind of a defense...Giants, Jags and Jets??? HOLY CAKE WALK BATMAN!!! :-) That very well could be the easiest all time starting schedule in the history of easy schedules. But Denver has done what they needed to do...At least you've kept things in perspective. Can't say the same about Knowmo. But he's special... [Reply]
I wish the Chiefs had a cake schedule! Actually, no I don't because that means we sucked ass as a team the year before. And the one before that. And the one before that. And you get the picture. [Reply]

Yeah, but I still contend that anyone thinking the NFL went out of their way to make something special happen is smoking crack. There are 4,377 things that they consider when doing the schedule and given Denver's results, why would anyone begin to suggest and/or believe in the notion that the NFL has some desire to make Denver look good?
