I for one am glad to see the entirety of the AFC West stepping up. Makes these rivalries much more interesting and fun. Also makes it fun when Mahomes and his team are overlooked and "come out of nowhere" later on.

Yeah, but I still contend that anyone thinking the NFL went out of their way to make something special happen is smoking crack. There are 4,377 things that they consider when doing the schedule and given Denver's results, why would anyone begin to suggest and/or believe in the notion that the NFL has some desire to make Denver look good?
