How the hell are they letting this go on?!?
I'm assuming that Woodley received assurances from Dana and the Fertittas that they would take care of him in the future if he lost. Woodley had a lot of leverage. He's got every right to decline the fight, and he knows the UFC badly wants it to continue. [Reply]
Apparently Gastelum was having a very rough cut. It was going to be close but he was on the way to making weight, but he collapsed Friday morning and had to go to the hospital where they rehydrated him. So, thats why he was 10 over. Gastelum's coach says he probably shouldn't be fighting, but its up to Gastelum and he wants to fight.
Dana White just announced that both Gastelum and Lineker will have to move up a division. Gastelum is going to be a middleweight from now on. [Reply]
The UFC tried to set up an interim middleweight title fight between Belfort and Machida for 184, but Belfort refused, saying he's been training to face a wrestler, and a southpaw karate fighter is too different with one month notice.
Reportedly Belfort and his coaches told the UFC that Romero, Souza, Rockhold, or Munoz would all be acceptable substitutes. [Reply]

Yeah, it probably does make you sexist, in all honesty. Either that, or you are a super-casual MMA fan.
OK, I think we can all agree that a welterweight, a Jon Jones, or heavyweight title fight are all more compelling, but setting all that aside, Rousey vs Cat is very interesting, and I'd rather see that than tiny men. (flyweights)
Who cares if they have small boobs under a sports bra, Rousey's Judo throws are crazy-good. [Reply]
