Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]

Raiders are like the Cowboys. They have a lot of fans who don’t even know why they are fans besides some strange mystique. The Golden Knights are organic to LV. The Raiders are like gypsies that have made LV their home for a time. [Reply]
I just literally can’t feel satisfied enough seeing all the rerunned comments from the AFC West fans. All the “LOL’s” and the utterly absurd takes. Not only did Mahomes “pan out”, he is literally the greatest QB to ever play the game. He absolutely dominates in all phases.
These guys not only have to suffer for having some of the shittiest takes about a sport they mistakenly thought they knew so much about, but also have to resign themselves to the fact that their shitty teams aren’t touching a championship for the better part of two decades. What a depressing existence. [Reply]
I've wondered for awhile if Pat would be one of those guys that hangs it up a little early instead of going and going like Brady.
BUT during this weeks interviews Mahomes said he plans to play as long as they'll let me!!!!!
Tells me that Mahomes truly wants that SB record!!
At 28, he could end up playing for another decade or more. He doesn’t have any plans on an early retirement.
"I want to play as long as they'll let me play," Mahomes said. "Fifteen years is long, but Brady did and some other guys have done it so I'm going to try to see if I can do it as well."
Then it’s just about taking advantage of every opportunity he has, like Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers. Every loss this deep in the playoffs makes it harder to challenge Brady’s record.
“I think what I’ve always said drives me my entire career is I don’t want to have any regret," Mahomes said. "I understand how lucky I am, to be drafted to Kansas City, I have Andy Reid as my coach and Travis Kelce as my tight end. I got drafted here and ended up with all the guys.
"I don’t want to look back at my career and regret how I performed every single day and that’s working out, that’s watching film, whatever it is. If I give everything I have, I can be satisfied with the result.” [Reply]

If he truly wants a long career he needs to get BWillie to tell him how to take care of himself. That guy is smart. [Reply]

I think it's been clear that he's been driven by Brady's SB record for a while now, but if I'm not mistaken this is the first time he's talked about trying to play to Brady's age. [Reply]

Nah, he has said in the past that he wants to play into his 40's. Catching Brady is extremely hard and probably won't happen. Getting past Montana isn't easy, but seems a lot more doable...especially if they can get Ring #3 next weekend. [Reply]

This is why I now deeply appreciate Brady. He's going to keep mahomes motivated for years after he's done everything he needs to do.

God, TigerUppercut was such a goddamn weirdo. I can't stop rereading his bullshit from the 2017 offseason and training camp. It's just so bizarre, you can't help but stare at it [Reply]
