Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]

Nah, man, those first 2 drives he was fucking DEALING. Alex Smith never did that on his best day.
Smith Never Ever throws that TD to Kelce with that coverage.
He channeled his inner Alex later, but he was fucking ON IT those first 2 drives. [Reply]

Oh 100%. SmithAndrew did a better job articulating my thoughts on this.

Patrick put as much ass into his throw to Kelce as I have seen him put into a throw (he had a tuddy to Hill in the 2019 AFCCG against the Titans that comes to mind, too). The fact he is playing with Alex’s ball control but can pull out throws like that to Kelce and MVS to put a game away is just a lethal combination with how elite our defense has been on the other side. Well life has come full circle - 'Worlds are colliding!'
The wife watching Good Day Philadelphia (FOX29) and calls me into the room, the hosts are discussing Mahomes' 'dad bod' pic in the locker room when up on the screen pops a tweet by Clay with a comparison of the Brady dad bod and Mahomes' dad bod;

Bodybuilders train chest day, leg day, back day, arm day.
Athletes train push, pull, carry, hinge, rotate.
Bodybuilding is about sculpting a body for a specific look. Sports are about movement performance. Mahomes is 28 and entering the peak period of his athleticism. He’s not getting sloppy or old, (and I am not attacking you specifically), but people don’t know what they’re looking at. [Reply]

Young Brady was a dough boy before he became a psychopath [Reply]
#Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes on "weird exercises" that help prepare him: "So I think (Bobby Stroupe) showed that to everybody, but he really showed it for me because I hate doing all that stuff. 'Why am I doing this stretch right now?'"
He's morphed into the ultimate chameleon at QB. In his early years, they put up a ton of yards and points but they only knew one speed. Full on fast and forward.
He's went thru the years and learned how to manage a game. It's when you know he's reached the ultimate peak. They need to add some weapons for sure to have more firepower, but that's for the offseason. [Reply]
