Just remember Doink fans...every game you win takes you a step further away from drafting a legit QB...and closer to having Fangio/Bridgewater as your HC/QB combo.
You could have your very own Derrick Carr situation...just good enough to keep around while remaining competitively stagnant.
I want you to win as many games as possible while still missing the play-offs...you're off to a great start. Good luck the next two weeks...you got this. [Reply]
Elway is the only GM in NFL history to build the highest scoring offense in NFL history AND a top 5 defense in NFL history.
In hindsight Elway probably deserves some credit. Need to get long term QB answer but he built a damn good roster. Amongst the better rosters in the league.

While also having the 2nd longest play-off drought in the NFL...once the HOF QB, that fell in his lap, retired.
Without lucking into Manning and using him as a recruitment tool...Horseface wouldn't have been even a mediocre GM. He's been awful since the first day Manning left..
He got lucky the Texans bailed his ass out in regards to Osweilier...or that would have been another flaming pile to add to his resume of FO futility.
We all know what he always was...and have 6 years of terrible personnel blunders to prove it. [Reply]

One of the longest current playoff droughts in the league, 12 straight losses to the best team in their division (which is pathetic considering even the Dolphins were able to beat Brady and BB occasionally), to go along with winless to the best qb on the planet. But hey, you Dungkey fans love what he did over 5 years ago, and still live in that past reality. [Reply]
We’ll be ready against Dre’Mont Jones. We just got this guy.
Good job Dorse…wait who drafted this guy Knowmo?!
We’ll be breaking down a lot of the huge performances from Week 1 on @nflnetwork. One that might get over looked is #chiefs rookie C Creed Humphrey. In his first NFL game: 41 pass blocking snaps, 0 QB pressures allowed, 0 sacks allowed. I’d say a solid NFL debut against a good DL
Veach also got maybe the biggest steal in the draft to play RG. And his 2nd rd LB had 7 tackles and a TFL in his first game.
The Chiefs have an attitude on the offensive line and it’s plays like this from @TreySmith73 that win games. Not only does he clear a path for Mahomes but does it violently which is just glorious. pic.twitter.com/4otl60UZof

That can't be! Teddy's previous team didn't put him on the bench after he won 5 straight games so they could get bounced out of the playoffs. Then lose him in free agency to a rival so they could lose a lot of games to said rival and watch him go on to win league MVP.
Srsly though the Broncos did what they were supposed to against the Giants. It's a step in the right direction. [Reply]
